The fourth annual "George Almond" Officer of the Year awards banquet will be held at the Embassy Suites in Cary on February 27, 2010.   As part of the festivities a live auction will be conducted by Ben Farrell to raise money for Cary Crime Stoppers and the Police Benevolent Foundation.   Many of the items can be previewed on this site until the auction date. 

Round of Golf for Four at MacGregor Downs Country
Club Course

MacGregor Downs is annually rated as one of the best courses in the southeastern United States because of the impeccable playing conditions. Bentgrass greens, tree-lined Bermuda fairways, four sets of tee boxes plus four additional hybrid layouts, renovated bunkers and cart paths, multiple water hazards, and the signature 18th hole provide a perfect round of golf on this winding course where no two holes are adjacent. The golf course was designed by Willard Byrd, one of America’s leading golf course architects. Some of the greatest names in golf have walked its fairways, including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Lee Trevino. In more recent years, the Club has hosted current greats such as Phil Mickelson, Stewart Cink, David Duval and Davis Love III.
